Moments to Remember:

• To take a 1 - 0 lead, Goose and Chris worked the give-and-go to perfection. Goose gave Chris the corner-pass, then shot towards the slot. Davies released a perfect feed that landed right on the stick of a running Goose. He fired it in to put the Div C Champs ahead for the rest of the game.
• Geoff took a pass from Mo about 8 feet out from the net, and while fighting off a close defender, shot a picture perfect backhander into the top shelf to take the 2 - 0 lead.
• After Abs dumped the ball into the left corner, I won the race to the ball and beat the "hurtin" defender around the net. Thinking far side all the way, I took the sharp angle shot from 6 feet out - where there appeared to be no room - and picked the top right corner for the 6 - 2 lead.
• Mo proved he is a true warrior by continuing to play after being blatantly tripped (no-call), and suffering a severely bruised shin.
